I started lifting weights as I high school kid who wanted to show off to girls and get better at sports (unique, I know). After seeing and feeling my body change, I was obsessed. Over time, the pursuit of aesthetics took a back seat to the real purpose of exercise - an elevated sense of well being. I went on to get my Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology at UMass Amherst, became a licensed massage therapist, and interned under Mike Reinold and Lenny Macrina. I've been training professional adults full time since 2011.
Fitness is the stabilizing force in my life. From multiple family members with cancer, to a torn ACL, to starting my own business, strength training has always been there for me.
I live on the beach near Boston, MA with my fiance, Allison. I love to fish, cook, eat, read, play guitar, snowboard, and golf.
